Those that know me, know how hard it is for me to say ‘just a few words’! I am my father’s daughter and I will talk the ear off you if you let me. But I can’t help it, I love people. I love sharing ideas, and concepts. I love learning new things and forming new options, or even changing them.

The idea of this blog, is to create an outlet for my thoughts, ideas, advise, anything I can give that I have learnt the hard way, in order to help others, navigate their hard way a bit better. I want to connect and make impact, to share and grow…. And also take this piss on a regular basis!

There are lots of things that make me, me…….

• I am 100% a nerd, I am always the weirdo who knows all the odd facts no one else does and I will watch pretty much any Sci Fi film going, #trek4life!

 

• I’m self-taught (although I have recently gone back to education), so everything I’ve learnt thus far has come from me trying and failing and absorbing what I can out of like a sponge. I love to read and write.

 

• I have the most ruthless sense of humour, be prepared to receive premium level bants. For me humour is the best therapy, the ability to laugh at yourself is the one of best ways to deal with the shit life throws at you.

 

 

• I Love FOOD! I always say I’m a cheap date, because I am a lightweight and it doesn’t really take much to make me tipsy, but what I don’t drink in alcohol, I will make up for the in the amount of food I order!

 

• Im unbelievably clumsy, which has been a major point of insecurity and embarrassments for me over the years, but I have learnt to embrace it, laugh it off, and just run with it!

 

 

• I sing on the shower, still trying to find the courage to do it in public!

 

• I dance when I see my food coming at the restaurant, or generally when I get excited!

 

 

• I always wear odd socks, not because its ‘cool’ or ‘quirky’, but because life is too short to spend it pairing up your socks!

 

• I love baby elephants, anyone who doesn’t is a monster!

 

• I have an uncontrollable urge to pet every dog I see… ‘COME HERE AND LOVE ME!’

 

• Despite being social I am a typical introvert, when I need my space I will retreat to my books and Pilates!
